La Chimenea Club de Pádel y Pickleball operates in Piñeyro, in the Avellaneda district, within the Buenos Aires metropolitan area, at a complex mainly dedicated to padel.
It's one of the places where the first pickleball matches in Argentina were played, with organized activity since 2018.
Already by 2020, the club offered court, paddle, and ball rentals, and had introduced an "open play" format, with instructors on hand to explain the sport to those trying it for the first time.
Fernando Piazzese, the club's director and at the time vice president of the Argentine Pickleball Association, drove the sport's development from this venue, which went on to send representatives to a tournament in the United States.
The complex has three pickleball courts, one outdoor and two indoor, converted from padel courts, along with restrooms, changing rooms with showers, a café, a shop, and padel courts. It has no parking of its own, so visitors need to park on the street.

Sportium Alcorta is an indoor sports complex located on the border between the Recoleta and Palermo neighborhoods in Buenos Aires.
It originally operated as a padel club and later added pickleball courts. It is part of the venue calendar for the Argentine Pickleball League and has also hosted activities organized by the Argentine Pickleball Association, serving as a training site for its national team.
The complex offers court rentals, open play sessions, and lessons with instructors, in addition to organizing tournaments in various categories throughout the year.
It operates out of an old warehouse-style building, in an area of port and railway storage facilities with a rundown look and little urban activity. It has a café and several lounge areas inside.
The surrounding area can feel unsafe, especially at night, so visitors are advised to take precautions when arriving at or leaving the club.
