From there, the sport spread in a decentralized way through players, clubs, and coaches, well before any formal association structures emerged. In 2024, the first Argentine Tournament was held in Los Cardales, Buenos Aires province, serving as a qualifier for the World Championship. Argentine players have made their mark on the international pro circuit, including Federico Staksrud, who has stood out in particular on the US circuit, where he competes in both singles and doubles.
